Viva Engage is Encore’s internal social networking platform, designed to help you connect with co-workers and clients through conversations and communities. It allows you to stay up to date with company news, receive real-time updates from Encore, and share highlights and achievements from your work in the field.
Who Can See Your Posts?
When you post on Viva Engage, your content may be visible to a broad audience within Encore, including:
Encore Partners and Clients
Business Development Managers (BDMs)
Encore Managers and Team Leads
Field team members and coworkers
Always be mindful of your audience and ensure your posts are professional and appropriate.
How Does Viva Engage Work?
Viva Engage is organized into Program Networks, and each network contains multiple Communities. You are expected to post in the correct network and community based on the content you are sharing. Your manager can provide guidance on:
What type of posts to make
Which communities to use
How often you should be posting
Accessing Viva Engage on Your iPad
In the Viva Engage app on your iPad, you will automatically have access to:
Encore Market Engagement’s main program network
The program-specific network for the program you are currently working on
All employees are added to the main Encore network by default.
To switch program networks:
Tap … View All at the bottom-right corner of the screen
Tap Settings (gear icon)
Select Network (second option from the top)
Choose the program network you want to switch to
Posting in the Correct Community
Each program network contains several communities. Before creating a post, confirm that you are in the correct community.
To select a community:
Tap Communities at the bottom of the screen
Select the community name you want to post in from the list
Tap the blue notepad icon in the bottom-right corner to start a new post
Adding Photos or Videos to Your Post
Some programs require posts to include media such as photos or videos.
To add media:
Tap the paperclip icon at the bottom-left of the posting window
Tap Add a Photo to open your camera roll
Select the photos or videos you want to include
Tap Add in the top-right corner
What Makes a Complete Viva Engage Post?
A strong Viva Engage post typically includes:
The correct community selected
Clear and descriptive text, including required tags (your manager can provide guidance)
Relevant photos or videos
When your post is ready, tap the blue Send button in the top-right corner of the posting window to publish.
Posting thoughtfully and in the correct place helps ensure your content reaches the right audience and supports effective communication across Encore.
